    Rice Flight Design Lead

    Nancy is a senior majoring in mechanical engineering with a minor in ecology and evolutionary biology, and a certificate in French. She is from the small town of Milford, Pennsylvania, and enjoys hiking, biking, swimming, and generally anything outdoors in her free time. She founded the AIAA chapter and the Rice Flight competition year in May 2022 with the goals of helping students learn about aeronautics and providing them with an opportunity to gain experience with fixed-wing flight.

    Max is a junior majoring in electrical and computer engineering. He is from the town of Chapel Hill, North Carolina, and enjoys running, biking, and playing ultimate frisbee in his free time. He joined the AIAA chapter and Rice Flight in the fall of 2023 and has worked on avionics and software.

    Anish Chitnis is a senior majoring in mechanical engineering. He is from Houston, Texas and enjoys soccer, movies, and making pizza. He joined Rice Flight in his sophomore year and has been interested on the aerodynamics side of the project.

    Ryan is a mechanical engineer who works as the team's treasurer and airfoil researcher. He enjoys working out, boxing, and cycling. He was born and grew up in Geneva, Switzerland, and is interested in aerospace.

    Deepak is a junior majoring in electrical and computer engineering. He is from Singapore and enjoys Running and Basketball. Deepak is involved with the propulsion system and aircraft stability for the Rice Flight competition team.

    Kate is a junior majoring in mechanical engineering. She is from all over Virginia and in her free time, she enjoys playing tennis, going to local theatre productions, and social dancing. She joined Rice Flight during her sophomore year and has gained a love for the complexity of aeroplanes after previously working on rockets.

    Camille is a junior studying Mechanical Engineering. She is from Maryland and spends her free time reading, baking, and building Legos. After joining the SAE team her sophomore year, she is excited to dive deeper into airplane design this year as the FEA specialist.

    Justin is a sophomore majoring in mechanical engineering with a minor in engineering design. He is from Houston and in his free time he enjoys backpacking and playing cello. He has been active in AAIA and Rice Flight since his freshman year.
